Hagiography handmade (hand painted) with gold leaf with Saint Helen. It has the signature of the hagiographer and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Agia Eleni is the mother of Agios Konstantinos, whom the Christian church proclaimed an apostle together with her son. from two years she gave birth to Constantine. When Constantius was to become Caesar of Galatia, he was forced to divorce Eleni because of her humble origins. Eleni left for the East. When Constantine became emperor, Eleni decided to do research to find the tomb and cross of Christ. In 326 he arrived in Palestine where after difficulties he found the Holy Cross. He later returned to Constantinople where he died between 328 and 330.
The memory of St. Helen is honored on May 21 with her son Constantine.
