This image is handmade hagiography (hand-painted) with gold leaf. It has the signature of the hagiographer and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The Apostle Andrew was Peter’s brother, he was a fisherman and he came from Bethsaida in Galilee. Andreas and John were disciples of Prodromos. One day Prodromos showed them the Lord and told them <behold the lamb of God that removes the sins of the world> and since then they became disciples of Christ. Teaching Christianity he ended up in Achaia. where he died after he was crucified in the shape of X. In the city of Patras are kept from September 26, 1964 the honorable Kara and from January 19, 1980 the remains of the cross of his martyrdom. Our church honors his memory on November 30.
